Dear Professor Rudy Guerra,

I'm very interested in your Proteomics in Antibiotic Resistance project, especially the methods used in your project to identify multiple sites, because all of these are related to my current study. I think understanding mechanism of the project will inspire me a lot and broaden my horizon greatly.

I am a master student in London School of Economics and Political Science，majoring in Statistics. My study and research focuses on data analysis, especially discrete data analysis, time series and stochastic process. Since my undergraduate major (obtained from Fudan University, in Shanghai) is also statistics, I have received systematical training in statistics.

During the undergraduate stage, I have been doing research on time series, building up models to forecast housing sales and international rubber price. Currently, I’m involved in the Project Oracle in London, funded by the Greater London Authority and the Mayor’s Office for Police and Crime, helping an organization to set up a system to evaluate the impact of its program. For my graduation dissertation, I intend to conduct my research related to biostatistics.

Now, I’m applying for a program related to my present research to continue my study. It will be my great pleasure if I can join your team and assist you in the Proteomics in Antibiotic Resistance project and other researches.
