赞美的力量

Life has its ups and downs. People’s life is a road filled with difficulties and various negative emotions. It is common that everyone will suffer from the desperate time. However, praise can lift us from the depths of despair to the great heights of hope. Everyone wants to be appreciated and praised by others for what they do and what they say. Once I volunteered my free time read books for groups of the old at their homes to cheer them up due to their failing eyesight. I always hold the belief that reading can broaden people’s horizons, sharpen their thoughts and help them know what is happening around the world. Unexpectedly, my teacher praised me in front of all the students and acclaimed that I had set a good example to my classmates. Students were on their feet with wild applause. At that moment, my heart was crowded with a sense of satisfaction. I was determined to give others a helping hand all the time and I took the praise to do whatever I can for the old people.

We can never imagine the power of praise, and never say bitter words to people around you.
