全球气候变暖，是到目前为止对地球和人类生存最为紧迫也最为严重的威胁因素之一。

最近，全世界冰川融化速度创下历史最快纪录，从安第斯山脉到北极，冰川消融速度加快。全球气候变暖将直接导致南、北极以及其它冰川融化，同时一些雪山也将随着气温的不断升高而消失。而融化后的冰川，将使海平面快速上升，世界很多美丽的城市终将被海水所淹没。

Global warming will lead directly to melting of the Antarctic, the Arctic and other glaciers, Meanwhile, some snow-capped mountains will disappear with temperatures rise. The glaciers melted will enable the sea level to rise rapidly, many beautiful cities in the world will eventually be submerged.
