一、教材分析

本课是新目标英语七年级上册第七单元Section B部分的阅读板块，课题为 本单元阅读语篇谈论的1-100的序数词，阅读部分是一则服装店的广告促销，活动2A让学生将所给衣物与价格匹配，旨在激活学生已有的生活经验，并对语篇阅读产生预期，从而让学生学习抓住关键信息的能力。2C对广告进行拓展，考查学生对语篇内容的深入理解及对本单元目标语言的运用。进一步拓展学生写的能力。

Teaching aims：

学完本课后，学生应能：

1﹑能认读使用单词：Ｍr、clothes、store、buy、sale、sell、all、very、price、boy

词组：a pair of; skins in purple ２、能读懂广告并寻找关键信息；

３、能使用句子“We have … for only …”提供信息。 Teaching procedures：

StepⅠ：Greetings and revision 1、Greet the class as usual; 2、Preparation

① A game: Ask the students to work in groups , and give them 2 minutes to collect the words about clothes as many as they can, the group which collects the most words is the winner.

(After four-period learning, most students have grasped many words about clothes, this activity will not only help them review the words, but also it’ll help interest them to learn English, set up their confidence and make them feel the teamwork.)

② Guide the students to count the numbers 1-31 with the flashcards. 3、Practice

Finish Activity 2a in Section B alone and then ask them to report their answer like this : I think a skirt is (only) ＄20.

1、Preparation

Ask the students to scan the ad in 2b and circle the new words with a colorful pen in the ad. Then guide them to learn the words or spell the words in groups and check the pronunciation with the whole class.

2、Presentation ﹠ Practice

Guide the students to read the ad twice and finish the following tasks, they must finish the tasks while reading.

① Look at the picture and say what they can see；

② Read the ad and find out the words about the clothes and how much they are ； ③ Check the answers by using the target language “How much is / are …? It’s /They’re …”and finish 2b.

① Ask the students to read a third time and find out the missing words in the sentences, and use them to complete the chart. After that the students will find out there are two main sentence structures “We have …for only…”and “…are only …”
