“中国英语”和“中式英语”一样吗？



葛传槼先生在他的文章《漫谈由英译汉问题》里面提出了“中国英语”这一概念。 “中国英语”与“中式英语”有所不同，“中式英语”只是机械的将中文转换成英语，汉语痕迹明显，通常会有用词或者语法的错误，但“中国英语”在用词和语法上都是正确的，只不过是因为带有鲜明的中国特色。 在涉及到中国题材的文章中，不可避免的会出现“中国英语”，因为很多带有中国特色的事物很少能在现有的英语词汇中找到适当的表达，只能用其他词汇借代或者用新型混合词汇来表示。

例1:英语词汇中里面没有“上火”这个概念，但如果要表达“上火”，就可以直接写成

shanghuo，China Daily就这样表达过这一概念：

例2:“风水”如果直接译为wind and water无法表达出它本身的意义，那么我们可以直接用汉语拼音feng shui来表达，极具中国特色：

例3：“三从四德”用英文是这样表达的： According to?the so-called "three
