第五课时 Section B (3a～3b)& Self Check

【学习目标】

1．通过开展小组学习活动，学生能够准确运用本单元的单词、短语和句子。 2．通过阅读和写作练习，使学生能够用英语描述地点。

3．通过Self Check检测学生对本单元的学习效果，并对所学知识进行巩固和练习。【学习重点】

用英语问路、介绍路线的句型。【学习难点】

用英语描述地点、问路指路的句型。

Ask some questions by showing some pictures.

Task 1 【学习提示】

Review the words，phrases and sentences on P48.Then students read together.情景导入生成问题 Ask the students these questions： 1．Where is your house?

【学法指导】

It's on Center Street.它在中心大街上。

【用法】在街上，英国人用介词in，美国人用介词on。如果后面有门牌号，则用at。【举例】on Center Street在中心大街上 on the road在路上 in the street在街上 on the street在街上 Task 2 【学习提示】

Just go down North Road and turn left.沿着北大街走，向左转就行了。【用法】(1)just用在祈使句句首，起强调作用。表示“就；尽管……好了”。【举例】Just stay here and have a rest.就待在这里休息一会儿。 Just walk along the street.就沿着这条街走。

(2)down在此句中是介词，意为“沿着”。down也可作副词，其反义词是up，表示方向。从城区往农村用down，从农村到城市用up，从市中心到城区用down，从城区到市中心用up。

there与be中间可插入一些表推测的情态动词、表时态的短语和一些动词短语，如和将来时be going to/will，现在完成时 have/has＋pp，used to结构等连用时，要注意其构成形式。这一内容在我们日常练习中经常出现错误，是there be句型的一个难点，也是历年中考试题中的一个考点。如：

There must be a pen in the box.
