long time ago, there was a huge apple tree and a little boy. They loved each other. As time went by, the boy grew day after day. He began to take all the apples away from the tree, cut off its branches to build houses and then its trunk to make a boat for relaxing. At last, the tree had nothing left but its dying roots as the boy’s seat…....Im deeply moved by the story. My friends, how similar the earth is to the old tree! Since thousands of years ago, we have been asking for everything from the earth: water, wood, mineral products and so on. But have we done anything in return even to protect? Mother Earth has become weaker and weaker. What’s more, air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution are all hunting the clean and peaceful land of our own.At the same time we cant enjoy the sunshine, clean air and water around us! Cant we feel Earth Mother crying?My friends, something has to be done to protect the environment! As teens, first， we can try to use less water paper and electricity. Second, set about recycling. Not only have we made less rubbish，but also we can payattention to productive use of cast-off things. Third, organize more people to fight against pollution.Ladies and gentlemen, the earth that we live is our mother, our only home. Its our duty to take action to protect the environment.
